No nothing to get excited about. My web host I have been using decided to eliminate us small people and support only larger customers. So here I am switching to an new host so please be patient while things get worked out. I have been using the current host for many years so I have a lot of work figuring out why I did things now.

And finally the one everyone has been waiting for
All that practice and now its time for the big game. Allison and all the other girls have been working hard and practicing each week getting ready for this day. The girls did really well and enjoyed performing in front of 
the crowd. A little nervous in the beginning but they soon found the crowd to be fun. I am very surprised how they learned all those cheers and of course the routines. The halftime routine was the big one where they actually were to form a pyramid at the end of the routine. Just like practice they pulled it off. Way to go.

No it's not a new or old movie title but rather my experience today after my doctor visit. Yes another 6 tubes of blood sucked out of my arm today. There was a time I would get sweaty palms and turn white from having my blood drawn. It’s become routine where I walk in and 
throw my left arm on the armrest and BAM....it’s over. I was concerned before she stuck me as she mentioned they are short handed and she had not taken a vacation all year and vacations were not allowed for the remainder of the year. I told her I hoped she was not in a bad mood before attacking my arm with that needle.....Laughter always lightens the mood and then the blood was flowing...

Well at least that is what the Volvo advertisement claims. I am sorry that my experience does not even come close. I just changed the engine stabilizer bushing as the original one broke. I kept hearing a knock when I accelerated and went over small bumps. I guess IPD will be getting my business (they sell Volvo parts). Now my A/C blower is out.

While Kelli was out of town we took advantage of the situation and worked on her birthday present. It was the only way to truly 
surprise her.
Not saying WHO but someone blew the speakers out of her car so we bought some new speakers and stereo. Stay tuned later for my installation adventure.
Allison loves the remote control. She quickly figured out how to use it from the back seat....

Kelli traveled this past weekend to southern Florida to attend the wedding reception of our ring bearer. Wow it's hard to believe as it seems we were just married a few years ago. I believe she had a good time (she wears her good time on the bridge of her nose, pay attention to the sign) and was still able to get some shopping in. It was a quick trip but we are glad she is back home.

Yes that is what I have turned into now. Per the CDC I will be about 1 of 4000 people this year. Is this my 15 minutes of fame? What a fun year this has been and will continue to be. I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed my visits to the lab having blood drawn. I am up to 16 tubes and counting. 
Both arms have been used for blood work and of course lets not forget the IV. Its also interesting to watch other peoples reaction to this as well. At work people have disinfected my office and wiped down door knobs. Conference rooms seem to be filling up more across from me or rather away from me. Just interesting to watch people around me and their reaction.
Well my doctor the infectiologist has said it will take about 6 months to get back to what will be my normal. Absolutely no medication without his pre-approval (even a simple aspirin). I am still tired in the evenings when I get home but its getting better. I actually woke up on my own around 7:00 this morning vs sleeping in until nearly 10:00.
It is what it is! We always make adjustments throughout our lives due to our surroundings whether we notice or not. Just another adjustment.

Well just before I got sick we had a major incident in the garage.
Allison went into the garage to get a something from the fridge and came back in stating there was an bad smell in the garage. She kept going on about the smell enough that I stopped what I was doing and went to investigate. As soon as the door opened I could smell the unforgettable smell of an electrical fire. A scan around the garage led me to the main breaker panel which was smoking and extremely hot. I quick shutdown of the power saved the house from a major fire.
Notice in the picture the right main cable lug is discolored and the backplane of the breaker block is melted.

How time flies when you are having fun. So what were we doing so many years ago (notice I am being careful not to date myself) today? Well we were celebrating our good friends getting married on this day. Congratulations Anney and Paul on your special day... So many memories we have together and many more yet to be experienced...
Varsity football season has begun. After the game start was delayed and again delayed at half time for lightening the game must go on. We left at half time due to it being late and Allison had cheerleading practice early on Sat. Spencer finally came home around 12:30am after they won against the Mustangs.

Another year another birthday. This birthday was special in that I was able to spend time in the lab having yet more blood drawn for further testing. Sucks getting old...Good news is my gift from Kelli. I finally have upgraded to an Ipod. Now if I can keep it from Allison who seems to have learned how to use it better than me.
