This is advanced course in home improvement. Removing all the old siding from the house and replacing with Hardieplank siding. 
We purchased over 800 individual boards for the siding.
Lesson 1 - Remove all the old siding
OOPS - I think I messed up lesson 1. It should have read "Lesson 1 - Hire someone"! Especially when you have over 3500 sq ft of siding to install.
Seriously my part of this is to repair the outside electrical. As you see from the picture all the external PVC wire housing have broken over the years. I bought PVC, junction boxes, lights, switches....My favorite part was not being able to locate the breaker from the pool switch and working on it "hot".
